Flexible office vacancies are on the rise in Moscow

17.06.2026

In May 2026, the vacancy rate in Moscow's flexible office segment reached 16%, an increase of 11 percentage points compared to the same period last year. The main reason for this increase is the large volume of new space coming on stream: in the first three months of 2026, approximately 11,000 square meters entered the market, almost five times higher than last year's figures.

Amid the current decline in demand, these new spaces remain unoccupied for a long time. Nevertheless, the forecast for the second half of the year appears optimistic. Experts note that if demand stabilizes and the market adapts to new conditions, the vacancy rate could decrease to 6-7%.
