Discounts for tenants

With declining consumer activity and rising maintenance costs, retail property owners are forced to actively attract tenants with special discounts. These discounts can reach 30% on rent, as otherwise they risk losing customers.

Most companies have abandoned expansion plans and are willing to pay less. Furthermore, rental rates on streets and in shopping centers have fallen. The period of rapid growth has ended, and businesses are massively optimizing their space, leading to a 12% drop in rents since the beginning of the year, the most significant decline in the past five years.

Meanwhile, rents in Moscow's premium office centers remain high and are even continuing to rise.
