The procedure and timing are regulated by the following documents: Order of the Ministry of Energy of Russia dated August 12, 2022 No. 811, "Rules for the Technical Operation of Electrical Installations of Consumers of Electricity" "Electrical Installation Rules" (PTEEP), Appendix No. 3, and the Electrical Installation Rules (PUE) (Chapter 1.8) define requirements for the design, installation, and operation of electrical installations, as well as safety and sanitary regulations.

Their frequency depends on the type of equipment:

• Electrical installations with voltages up to 1000 V – once every 1-3 years, depending on operating conditions;
• Electrical installations with voltages over 1000 V – once every 1-5 years, depending on loads and environmental conditions;
• Special devices, such as generators, transformers, etc. – according to the manufacturers' recommendations in the accompanying documentation.

In conditions of high humidity, dust, or corrosive environments, the frequency of inspections may be increased (e.g., every 6-12 months). For new electrical installations, control measurements are carried out immediately after installation. and then according to established standards.
